YouTube, Kiruna in Sweden, November 2008.
Kiruna area in the most northern part of Sweden (above the Arctic circle) - the video quality is poor because it is filmed with a cell phone by a local amateur, but it´s still a frighting testimony of the Alcohol Threat out on our roads. The drunk driver is in the ditch more than 3 times, almost crashes into 2 meeting cars and one car driving in the same direction, but continues to raise the speed without any consideration of the safety and human life. It´s unknown if he got caught by the Police.

Driving under the influence of alcohol contributes annually to at least 10,000 deaths on EU roads. In USA more than 12 000 people have lost their lifes this year, so far.
